About Institute

The Bitnar Institute was established for the postgraduate education of rehabilitation specialists with the aim of imparting clinical procedures that work and treat patients suffering from pain and movement disorders of the musculoskeletal system and functional disorders of the visceral system, mainly with manual techniques that do not require the application of special devices and medications.

The methods taught in the courses grow out of the principles of the Prague School of Physiotherapy, but are enriched with new knowledge and techniques that are based on a thorough and comprehensive approach to the patient in diagnosis and therapy.

PhDr. Petr Bitnar, who is the founder of the institute, is a long-time therapist at the largest teaching hospital in the Czech Republic, Motol, and is a teacher at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University.
